Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 8, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of markrendezmaranan.com (the "Site"), operated by Mark Rendez Maranan, an individual freelance Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and medical billing service provider based in Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines. By browsing or using this Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. What this Site is

This Site is a professional portfolio and lead-generation page. It describes my freelance RCM/medical billing services, shares reference material (such as the payer directory and billing guides), and lets you reach me through an intake form. No services are purchased, delivered, or paid for through this Site. Any actual work I perform for a client is agreed separately, directly with that client, typically by email or a written scope/engagement agreement, and is governed by the terms of that separate agreement rather than by this page.

2. Informational content, not professional advice

Content on this Site — including the reference guides, the denial-cost calculator, statistics, and the "live claims" demo — is provided for general informational and illustrative purposes only. The denial-cost calculator uses simplified, industry-average assumptions and is not a guarantee of your practice's actual results. Nothing on this Site constitutes legal, financial, medical, coding, or compliance advice, and you should not rely on it as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional familiar with your specific situation.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Site in any way that violates applicable law; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its intake form, or related systems; (c) submit false, misleading, or malicious content through the intake form; or (d) scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of the Site's content without permission.

4. Intellectual property

The text, layout, design, and original graphics on this Site belong to Mark Rendez Maranan unless otherwise noted. Third-party names, logos, and trademarks referenced on this Site (for example, EHR/EMR platforms, payer portals, and payment providers I have experience with) are the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe tools and systems I have worked with. Their appearance does not imply sponsorship, partnership, or endorsement by those companies.

5. Third-party links and embeds

This Site links to or embeds third-party services, including Calendly, LinkedIn, YouTube, the official CMS NPI Registry, and various EHR, payer, and payment-provider websites. I do not control these third parties and am not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, or privacy practices. Visiting them is at your own discretion and subject to their own terms.

6. No warranty

This Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. I make reasonable efforts to keep information current but do not guarantee it is error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this Site. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded under Philippine law.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any separate services agreement you sign with me directly may specify its own governing law and dispute-resolution process, which will apply to that engagement instead of this Site-only Terms page.

9. Changes to these Terms

I may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after a revision means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to markrendezmaranan56@gmail.com.

This page is a general-purpose template, not legal advice. Consider having a Philippine lawyer review it, especially before it governs any paid engagement rather than just the website itself.
